Mindful Movers is a Wakefield-based peer support charity supporting mental health and wellbeing through nature, movement and connection. We run welcoming sessions at our Basecamp community garden and outdoor classroom in Thornes Park, as well as a weekly Walk and Talk session.
The Wednesday sessions are prioritised for working-age adults who face mental or physical health barriers to work or education. The Friday Walk and Talk follows a wheelchair-accessible route.
Adults aged 18 and over. Children and young people can also attend with a carer during school holidays.

Referrals are responded to within 7 working days, usually sooner. Where spaces are available, people can often start attending sessions quickly.
